How to Curb Your Food Cravings



It happens that the minute you start your weight loss program; your appetite gets out of control. More than ever you crave the fats and carbohydrates your body was used to, you start experiencing withdrawal symptoms. But if you get weak and give in to your cravings, your will ruin your  fat-loss phase and start gaining weight gain , that way it will be impossible for you to  achieve  that lean physique you so long for.

Because we recognize that it is a challenge to curb your cravings, we compiled a number of ways that you can win the war against your monster appetite.

Eat Well Balanced Meals


You do not have to starve yourself to loose weight. As most nutritionists will tell you, eating a well-balanced diet in 4-6 meals a day can keep you feeling full throughout the day. Let your diet have all essential nutrients that are vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates, minerals, calcium, etc. If you deprive your body of any of these nutrients the more, it will crave for it and lead you into temptation.

 Eat more Fiber


Eating fiber rich food like vegetables, legumes, whole grains and fruits will leave you feeling full all day. Fiber also controls the release of insulin into the blood stream; hence your sugar levels remain high. You should consume about 25-30g of fiber per day.


Eat some fats Increase Your Healthy Fat Intake


I know, it sounds insane, but it’s true. Fats are important in your diet as they regulate hormone production and absorption of vitamins in the body. Just like fiber, fats take while longer to digest and absorb  than most nutrients. You get essential fats from cheese, milk, and nuts.


 Choose nutritious Foods


Some foods are more nutritious than others. Instead of going for pastry and corn for carbohydrates how about you feast on a ton of fruits, vegetables, and grains the whole day. These nutritious foods will keep you satisfied the whole day as well as supply your body with the necessary nutrients.
And the best way to ease your cravings is to proper hydrate your body.

Water


Water leaves you feeling full and improves your metabolism. Also, eat slowly, portion your food so that instead of having three large meals a day you have 4-6 well-balanced meals, this will ensure that you do not crave anything.With these few tips and determination, you should be on your way to a better, leaner body.
